Late last year, Kate’s dear friend Mel received her final wish — to return home and marry her beloved Jarad. Mel passed away a short time afterwards, but her wish created precious memories that will be held forever.
Kate’s fundraising is a beautiful reminder of how powerful community support can be, helping others experience moments of love, dignity and connection at the end of life.
Ambulance Wish Western Australia’s final wish programme is only possible through donations, and fundraising initiatives like this help keep the programme running for families across WA.
