Recently, Christine was able to leave her bed at Kalamunda Hospital to attend a beautiful wedding celebration, surrounded by family, love, and the joy of the occasion.

For a few precious hours, the focus shifted away from medical needs and onto the magic of the day — a moment of comfort, connection, and peace in the company of those who mattered most.

This special wish was made possible thanks to our incredible volunteers, Amanda, Jo and Leone, who supported Christine and her family every step of the way.

At Ambulance Wish Western Australia, we help terminally ill West Australians fulfil their final wishes — whether that’s being present for a milestone like a wedding, visiting a place filled with memories, or sharing one last meaningful moment with loved ones.

We provide this service at no cost to wish recipients or their families. Every wish is made possible through the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, including qualified healthcare professionals, who give their time and expertise.

If you’d like to help us create more moments like Christine’s, please consider donating.

Every contribution helps turn a final wish into a cherished memory that lasts forever.
