Recently, Sarah was able to leave her hospital bed at Fremantle Hospital to spend precious time with the people she loves most — surrounded by nature, fresh air, and the warmth of family and friends.

For a few beautiful hours, the focus was not on illness or appointments, but on connection. On holding hands, sharing stories, and simply being together in a place that brought comfort, peace and dignity as Sarah’s life was celebrated and her journey gently honoured.

This deeply meaningful wish was made possible through the kindness and dedication of our wonderful volunteers – Annette, Ian, Susie & Gary – who supported Sarah and her family every step of the way with compassion, respect and care.

Through our work, we help terminally ill West Australians experience moments that truly matter — whether that’s returning to a favourite place, being part of an important milestone, or spending quiet, meaningful time with the people they love.

Every wish is provided at no cost to families. Our work relies entirely on the generosity of our community and the commitment of trained volunteers who help make these precious moments possible.

If Sarah’s story has touched your heart, please consider supporting us by making a donation or submitting a wish request for someone you love. Together, we can help turn precious time into lasting memories.
