Every wish we deliver is made possible by the kindness of our community. Our dedicated volunteers give their time freely, but each wish still carries real costs — from specialised vehicle operations and clinical support to planning and coordination.
what is a 'Gift a wish'?
Wishes are always free for Wish Recipients, however, on average each Ambulance Wish costs $2,000 to fulfil.
Through the Gift a Wish scheme, individuals, businesses and community groups can directly sponsor a final wish and help create a memory that will be cherished forever.
This is your opportunity to be part of something special and ensure others have their Ambulance Wish fulfilled.
$2,000 = One fully funded final wish
That means:
- One person given the opportunity to visit a place that matters most;
- One family supported to create a lasting memory together;
- One compassionate journey delivered with dignity and care; and
- One moment of connection at the end of life.
Because Ambulance Wish Western Australia is a 100% volunteer organisation, every dollar donated goes directly toward delivering wishes and sustaining the service for the community.
Where your $2,000 goes
Every wish is carefully planned and delivered by trained volunteers, supported by specialised equipment and vehicles designed to provide comfort, dignity, and safety. While our volunteers give their time freely, there are essential operational costs required to make each wish possible.
Vehicle operations
Fuel, maintenance and readiness of the Wish Ambulances.

Clinical consumables, oxygen equipment and comfort supplies.
